The Heart Behind the Magazine

Haley DeYoung is a civic educator, program developer, business coach, and the founder of In My Joyful Era. With a passion for helping people grow and thrive, she has spent her career designing programs that empower individuals, strengthen communities, and lift up small businesses.

In October 2025, Haley launched In My Joyful Era with a simple but powerful vision: to help women cultivate lives filled with joy, balance, and purpose. Recognizing that many women feel overwhelmed by the demands of modern life, she set out to create a space where readers could find inspiration, community, encouragement, and practical resources for building a life they truly love.

Through the magazine, podcast, and community partnerships, Haley explores the interconnected pillars of a fulfilling life—including financial wellness, personal growth, health, meaningful relationships, and soul-filling pursuits. Her mission is to help women feel more connected to themselves, their communities, and one another.

Today, Haley uses In My Joyful Era to celebrate the people, businesses, ideas, and experiences that bring joy to everyday life while fostering a supportive community of women committed to living intentionally and thriving together.
